The Reset Club

Train. Recover. Work. Connect.

The third place between home and work.

Hoboken's wellness social club. Train, recover, work and belong, at one address, on one membership. Capped at 750 members, so it stays a club rather than a crowd.

One membership

Train

Coached strength circuits and reformer pilates, fifty minutes, no mirrors. The programming runs a full year, so you leave with a number rather than a memory.

Recover

Two saunas, seven cold plunges, red light and compression, in one staffed room. Communal on purpose: recovery is the most social hour of the day, and everywhere else treats it as a private one.

Work

A coffee bar, fast wifi and a table nobody will move you from. It is in your dues, not on your bill.

Connect

Run club, book club, workshops, dinners. Somebody on staff owns it and is measured on it, which is the difference between a community and a mailing list.

What it replaces

Hoboken sells this in three memberships. We sell it in one.

  • Reformer pilates studio$349
  • Gym with a sauna$119
  • A desk to work from$375
  • Three memberships, two or more buildings$843
The Reset Club, all of it$449

Typical Hoboken rates, and that is before the drop-in plunges, the coffee you buy for the right to sit somewhere that is not your apartment, and a social life organized around bars. We are not a fourth line on that list. We are the line that replaces it, at roughly half.

What we commit to

Capped at 750 members.

Every studio in this city is full at exactly the hour you wanted it. A cap is the only honest way to promise otherwise, so we set one and we will hold it.

No mirrors in either studio.

Screens on the short walls, the instructor in the middle. Fifty minutes spent on what your body can do instead of what it looks like doing it.

Community is somebody's job.

Not a hashtag and not a hope. A salaried role that owns introductions, events, and whether you know anyone's name by the third week.

Bright, not dark.

The category trains in blacked-out rooms under red light. We went the other way: daylight, pale materials, rooms you can hold a conversation in.
